Obj ective To investigate the features of huge pedunculated hepatocellular carcinoma and its surgical treatment. Methods totalof 8 patients with huge pedunculated hepatocellular carcinoma treated in our hospital between January 1998 and January 2002 were reviewed. Results ll patients received surgical treatment and none of them died of surgery. The maximal diameter of the tumor was 1230 cm and its average diameter was 18. 12 cm. ll patients werefollowed upfor 12to 60 months and2 of them died during thefollowupperiod. Con clusions Huge pedunculated hepatocellular carcinoma should be surgically managed. Key words!
