Methods:Among patients w ith acute ST elevation myocardial in farction in our hospital from January 2003 to May 20 07, a total of 14 7 patients received emergency PCI within 12 hours of incidence, of w hich 78 were implanted domestic drug stents ( Firebird stent) , and 69 re ceived bare metal stent implantation (Driver stent) . No significant differences exist betw een the tw o groups in terms of age, sex, suffering time, coronary lesions, and other basic clinical conditions. 83 drug stents were implanted in 79 culprit vessels, and 72 bare metal stents were implanted in 69 culprit vessels.
