虚拟语气的其他用法 1、虚拟语气用在wish 后的宾语从句 a、表示与现在事实相反的愿望，谓语动词用过去式 eg: I wish I had your brains.我希望我有你那样的头脑。(事实：我根本比不上你) b、表示过去事实相反的愿望，谓语动词：had+v-ed eg: I wish I had known the truth of the matter.我希望我原来知道这件事的真相。（事实：原来不知道） c、表示将来难以实现的愿望 谓语动词：should/would + 动词原形 eg: I wish I should have a chance again.很难再有这样的机会了。（事实：很难再有这样的机会了） ②虚拟语气用在suggest(建议)、insist(坚持)、demand(要求)、order(命令)等动词后的宾语从句中。 在这种用法中，无论主句谓语动词为何种时态，从句的谓语动词都用：“should + 动 词原形”或只用“动词原形”。 如 He suggested He insisted He demand that we (should) take He ordered the teacher’s advice He doesn’t know if he should bring a present. 此处if表示“是否”，引导宾语从句。Should此处表示“应该”。不是虚拟语气。 E.g.1. I don’t know if I should go to the party. 2.If I have enough money, I will go to Hainan . 知识点 I don’t have a present. What if everyone else brings a present? What if… “如果……怎么办？”相当于 what would happen if… E.g. What shall I do if it snows? 知识点 Confident people aren’t afraid to speak in public. In public 当众，公然。 E.g. Don’t speak in public。 知识点 Social situations don’t bother you in the slightest. Bother=trouble 打扰 e.g. Don’t bother him, he’s pretty tired. Not in the slightest=not at all 微不足道的 e.g. He didn’t embarrass me in the slightest. 知识点 Your friends would probably say that you are easy to get along with. Get along with=get on with 与。。。相处 E.g. My classmates are easy to get on/along with. 知识点 You like talking to one or two people rather than a group. You would also rather stay at home and read a good book than go to a party. (1)rather…than…和 …rather than…作比较的为相同部分，“宁可…而不” (2)would rather do sth.=had rather do sth.宁愿做。。，较喜欢做。。。 Would (had) rather do sth than do sth=prefer to do sth rather than do sth. 宁愿做。。。而不愿做。。。 E.g. (1) I would had rather drink green tea than coffee. (2) I’m rather bored than tired. 知识点 Well, dogs can be a lot of trouble.
