2003年6月CET-4 Writing（1） An Eyewitness Account of a Traffic Accident Im a student at Nanjing University of Technology. Following is my eyewitness account of a traffic accident. It was a winter evening, and it was raining. The ground was very wet. I was on my way back home from work. Approaching the bridge, I suddenly heard a big noise. I turned to the direction of the noise, wondering what had happened. I hurried over and saw a car was lying badly damaged in front of a heavy truck. Obviously, the car had collided with the truck. But the truck was only slightly damaged. Fortunately, no one was hurt. But each driver was blaming the other for the responsibility for the accident. A crowd was gathering. Someone dialed 110 for the police. Shortly two policemen arrived in a police car. Immediately, they set about investigating the accident. As the police found out, the car driver was at fault. The truck was going in a straight lane when a car cut in from the next lane, giving only a short notice. As a result, they collided. The car driver should have waited until the truck had passed and then turned in this lane. 2003年6月CET-4 Writing（2） An Eyewitness Account of a Traffic Accident I did witness the horrible traffic accident last night at the cross section of Glory Road and Victory Street． At eleven sharp last night，I was bicycling on Glory Road when，at the cross section of Victory Street ahead of me，a motorcycle with a young man and a young woman driving straightforward roared into a Toyota car turning right．The two youngsters were thrown to the sidewalk, unconscious, while Toyota door was hit with a deep dent．It turned out that the crashed motorcycle was speeding andits young driver was drunk driving while Toyota was following the traffic rule by moving forward at anormal speed． I was sorry for the unfortunate motor driver who could have avoided such tragedy．Instead of being hospitalized， he cou
