The design consist of architectural design and structural design. In accordance with building codes for the university library and in view of the requirement of architectural art, architectural environment and the technical and economic conditions, architectural design determines the architectural scheme. Then, architectural working drawings are drawn with the help of AutoCAD 2004 and Tengen software. According to the structural codes, structural design fixes the structural scheme, calculates the staircase reinforcing Steels by hand, establishes structural model with PKPM. Then, structural working drawings are drawn by AutoCAD 2004 and Tssd software. Through the analysis of the ratio of parameters, the structure is reasonable.
