? Good , everyone. I’m from NO.18 Middle School of Zigong. My name is Wang Xiaolan. The lesson plan Im going to talk about is from Grade 9 Unit 7 Where would you like to visit ?—Section A (1a-2c). The plan includes seven parts:
Part one: Analysis of the Teaching Material
本单元的中心话题是Vacations通过本单元的学习,要求学生能够谈论自己想去的地方,并学会介绍旅游景点,同时了解世界各地的一些名胜古迹。因此,国家和旅游景点的介绍,不仅在本单元占据主导地位,也是训练学生口语表达能力的良好素材。根据新课标对学生交际能力的培养,尤其对学生口语及能力的要求不断提高,以及农村学生的实际情况,我将本课设计为一堂听力会话课。
Language goal: talk about vacations
Sentence structures:
Where would you like to visit (go on vacation)?

Why ?

vocabulary:
tiring ,educational, fascinating, peaceful, thrilling, take it easy, trek , jungle.Part two: The important and difficult points
The important points:
Talk about places Ss would like to visit and the intentions.
The difficult points:
Use the sentences freely which Ss have learned and improve their spoken English.
Part three: The design of teaching aims
Language goals——learn the sentence structure “would like to do sth” and consolidate the language points by practicing.
Ability goals——Enable the Ss to talk about places they would like to visit.
Emotion attitude goals——Learn about some scenery spots around the world. Enable the Ss to love the nature.
Strategy goals——let Ss take part in the class activities, train the team work and listen to the key words.
Part four: Analysis of the students
初三的学生经过两年的新课程理念的熏陶及实践,有了一定的英语基础知识和听说能力初步的自主、合作、探究、的能力。因此采用活动教学法和Role playing的学习策略,让学生在活动中自主地学习新词汇、重点句型;自主地完成任务,提高解决问题的能力及综合运用语言能力。
