But the objects which have been studied, mainly relate to the field of education, medical and health fields (such as the burnout phenomenon on primary and secondary school teachers, medical staff), and other areas (such as the burnout phenomenon on police, library staff, psychological consultants, general employees in enterprises).But almost no systematic analysis on the job burnout of retail staff in emporiums,which is more prevalent and more serious. Job burnout of retail staff has great negative impact on the staff ’s work quality and emporiums’ efficiency. Nowdays, emporiums are facing severe competition from modern shopping malls, they must improve their service to strengthen their capacity of competition. So they must pay more attation to the job burnout of their retail staff,because a high standard of service should be conveyed to the customers by the retail staff, so the research of job burnout of retail staff in emporiums not only has theoretical value,buy also has a practical significance.
