Hold up the flashcards one at a time. 2. Use English names Ask: What’s your name? Elicit: My name’s …. 3. Introduce the characters. a. T: Who’s this? Ps: Ann. b. Revise: Uncle Booky, c. Study: Peter. d. Repeat this for Wanglin. 4. Model the dialog a. Make a dialog: Hello! What’s your name? My name’s (Mocky). b. Practice the dialog. 5. Talk about the story.:Ask the children some questions about the text. 6. Story. a. Listen to the tape, and look at the pictures. b. listen again ,and try to read after the tape. c. Read the text together. 7 Homework: Listen to the tape, and try to talk about the dialog. 板书: What’s your name? My name’s ( Ken). 教学后记:学生基本上都能运用“What’s your name?
