It is based on the subtraction of the poles in h [ D − 4 of the amplitudes, in dimensional regularization, after a 3 suitable normalization has been performed. Perturbation the- v ory is in the number of loops and the procedure is stable under 9 3 iterative subtraction of the poles. The unphysical Goldstone 3 2 bosons, the Faddeev-Popov ghosts and the unphysical mode of . 5 the gauge field are expected to cancel out in the unitarity equa- 0 tion.
