Show a world map. Say “find and point to China” Direct students to the photos and say
“Find the photo of China”
Then say “Match the other photos with the correct countries”。 Then check in class.
Play the recording, ask Ss to listen and repeat after it.
Step2 Exercise2
Ask “Which flag is China’?”
Ask “How do you spell China?”
Then ask the students to complete the names of the countries with the help of spelling cues.
Then check their answers
Step3 Exercise 3
Ask “Who are the people in the photo? “Where are they?”
Point to the folders and notebooks to guide them.
Then play the recording for Ss to complete the dialogue with the country names. then check in class.
Play the recording, ask the students to read after it.

Ask the students to underline the five English sentences from the dialogue in exercise 3 .

Then ask them to check in pairs, then in class. Then lead Ss to read the five sentences.

Then role-play Steve and Amy.
Then say “role-play Steve and Amy in pairs”
