Methods Taking berberine, the main component in Phellodendri Amurensis Cortex, as an indicator, a relative correction factor between berberine and palmatine as well as jatrorrhizine was established. Then the correction factor was used to calculate the content of the other two in Phellodendri Amurensis Cortex . In this way, the calculated value was compared with the external standard method.
