As a Conrad Buddy, your job is to achieve excellence in the transfer of skills for on-job-training (OJT) What Are The Qualities Of A Good Buddy? A good Buddy should have the desire, enthusiasm, patience and good communication skills to guide the new staff/trainee. He/She should be well respected among his/her colleagues. A good Buddy is also a good listener. He listens to pick up on key points that may need explanation or probing. A good Buddy avoids punishing new staff/trainee for their errors. Instead they coach and guide by setting good examples. A good Buddy is one who is familiar with the performance standards of Conrad International Centennial Singapore and is uncompromising in his/her attention to standards Role And Responsibilities As a Buddy, you must know the job you supervise. Therefore, you must know exactly when and what your new staff/trainee will be doing. It is your spend a large to create a non-threatening but conducive environment with the best opportunities to work and train. You should spend a large portion of your time leading and overseeing the activities of your new staff/trainee. You should make it clear with the new staff/trainee before the start of training the required performance/service standards. The new staff/trainee need to know what is expected of them to accomplish the task. The Buddy focus on what it takes to achieve the b
