DesignandImplementationoftheTelemedicineSystemBasedonDICOMDuNan,HanXieAbstractTelemedicine is a new medical model, which is the use of computer, multimedia,communicationsandnetworktechnologycloselyintegratedwithmodernmedicaltechnology to improvemedical diagnosis, reducemedical costs and meet theneeds ofspecial populations. Itsappearanceeffectivelysolvedlotsofproblemswhicharisingunderthetraditionalmethods ofmedicalandmaximizedtheoptimizationoflimitedmedicalresources.Thisnewmedical modelisverypromisingandhaslong-termdevelopmentprospect.Theconstructionand developmentofTelemedicineSystemisnotonlyoneofthekeycontentsofcurrentdigital hospitalestablishment,butalsothegreatmotionofimprovingthedevelopmentofmedical cause.Firstly,thispaperreferencesalargenumberofscientificliteratures,dopresentindetails anddeeplyresearchontelemedicinetechnologies.IncludingtheDICOMstandard, middlewaretechnologyand multimediadatabase.Secondly,thepaperanalyzedthecharacteristics ofmultimediadataintelemedicine system,proposedanewmanagementmethodwhichcombinesdatabasemanagementsystem andfilessystem,usedrelationaldatamodelforstaticstructureofthedatabaseinformation andobject-relationalmodelforformatinformationofmultimediadata,thenstorethe informationtoarelationaldatabasebymappingbetweenobject-relationalmodeland relational model.Thirdly,threefunctionmodulesofpatients,doctorsandadministratorsintelemedicine systemareanalyzedanddesignedbasedonthesystemfunctionalrequirement,thesystem databaseisdesignedindetails,andthepapercompletedthedevelopmentoftelemedicine system based on DICOMstandardandrealized remotediagnosis fordoctors on patients.Thesubjectbasicallycompletedthedesignandimplementationoftelemedicinesystem, whilstwhatisneedtobefurtherstudiedishowtooptimizeimagecompressiontechnology, remotetransmissiontechnology,issuestoensuresystemsecurity,etc..Onlyonconditionof addressingthesekeytechnologiescanweensurethattelemedicinedevelopstowardsdigital, intelligent and comprehensive.Keywords:Telemedicine, DICOM, Midd
