Grade 8 Module 4 Education Unit2 Project Hope has built many schools. 一、教学目标: 1.知识与技能： To understand what Project Hope has done; To write about what one has achieved in English study. 具体地说，掌握本模块中关于教育和希望工程的词汇（raise, describe, drop, drop out of school, important, ill, look after, pay, hear of, perhaps）；掌握现在完成时的用法；能听懂对行为和状态持续的表述；能利用how long，since 和for进行问答；能掌握文章大意；能结合图片介绍希望工程以及其他类似机构。 2.情感态度：通过了解希望工程，增强民族文化意识；能够了解偏远贫困地区人民的疾苦，向贫苦孩子伸出援助之手，培养仁爱之心，关爱之心。 3.学习策略：培养自主学习的能力与合作精神，在活动中去参与和体验，运用英语。 二、教学设计 Teaching steps Teacher’s Activity Students’ Activity 1.Warming-up Help students to revise what was learnt in Period one of this module.
