Analysis of the Students
The class I teach is accounting class, grade one. They are lively and active at the age of 16-17, which is prefer learning by doing with the method of task –driven. Because of different basis and studying capabilities by means of the method of multi-level teaching team work. Meanwhile most of them are short and scattered , so VAK learning style can be build. Only by this way, every student ,no matter he/she can is good or bad can take part in the class teaching equally and effectively. Analysis of the Teaching Material This unit begins with transportation closely related to people, which is interesting and practical. Especially the students can learning is not only for work but also for fun. Meanwhile It close to the career demand. It’s a reading part about transportation which is a carrier to know about the means of transportation and the traffic situation in U.S. according to various activities by effective reading so as to enlarge the class teaching inputs and comprehensible outputs. Teaching Objective Knowledge objective:
1 master the new words and expressions.
2 use the sentence pattern
3 know the traffic situation in U.S.
Skill objective:
1 Use the reading skill and strategies to understand the passage
2 Develop the ability of reading and writing Teaching Focus 1 Help the Ss to understand the passage
2 improve their abilities of reading Teaching Difficulties 1 lead the students to take part in the tasks by total-staff.
