Using prepositions to indicate places e. g. In Wood Bay. Key Points: The air is very clean there. Difficult Points: I live in East point. Teaching Aids: tape、 radio 、word cards. Procedures Contents Methods Purpose Warming up Pre-task preparation 1.Sing songs 2.Daily talk: Where do you live? I live in/on… How are you? What do you like to eat? Which do you like better, blue or purple? What do you know about fire-safety? How does a balloon rise in the air? Where does air pollution come from? 1 Ask: Where do you live? Toelicit:I live in/ on . 2.Have the class look at the map on page 12 of the student’s Book. Ask them to circulate around the classroom asking six people where they live and what the air is like in that district. 2.Ask some students to come forward to report their findings to the class. 3.Distribute photocopiable page 13 to each student and have them write a report on their findings. 4.Ask some students to read their reports aloud in class.
