Performance Commitment “Development Plan” Development History Development Goals: focused around the Leadership Competencies SMART Objectives for development Career Planning * 1. Click the button labeled “Edit” to enter into the edit mode. You must be in the edit mode to add/modify ANY information to your AIM/PMP document. 2. Click the tab labeled “Development Plan”. 3. Development History: Enter developmental activities e.g. additional responsibilities, new learning, new experiences, etc. that have occurred in the last five years. The employee should add to this section yearly. Hint: Enter what developmental activities you want the leadership of IR to know about you. 4. Development Goals: Enter the IR Leadership and/or functional competencies you need to further develop. These can be short-term (one year) or long-term (two to three years). 5. Development Objectives: Document developmental objectives designed to achieve mastery of the competencies identified under Development Goals. 6. Actions: Using SMART criteria, enter actions that will align with your Development Objectives. 7. Progress Update: Enter scheduled dates of Actions and/or date Actions were completed. A training course should not be entered without its anticipated date of completion. Note: In ISO certified facilities, the scheduled or anticipated date of completion may be required information for an ISO Audit. 8. Individual’s Career Interests/Goals: Enter both your short-term and long-term career goals.
