英语中的冠词 英语中的冠词是一种虚词，本身不能 单独使用，它用在名词的前面，帮助指 明名词的含义。英语中的冠词有三种， 一种是定冠词(the)，另一种是不定冠 词(a和an)还有一种是零冠词(名词前不用 冠词)。 不定冠词a/an的用法 1、a用在读音是辅音开头的词前，an用在读音是元音音开头的词前. 一本有用的字典 a useful dictionary 一种非比寻常的味道 an unusual taste 2、指人或事物的一种类 A dog is a faithful(忠实）animal. 3、指某人或某物，但不具体说明何人或何物 那边有一个小男孩。 There is a little boy over there. 4、表示数量一，但其概念没有one强烈。 罗马不是一天建成的/ 伟业非一日之功. Rome was not built in a day. 5、表示每一(频率)。 汤姆每周去一次图书馆。 Tom goes to the library once a week. 6、用于序数词前，表示“再一，又一” 那个人又试了一次（此前已经尝试过一次）。 The man tried a second time. 零冠词的情况 1、棋类、球类、一日三餐名词前部加任何观测。 play chess, play basketball, have lunch. 2、月份、星期、节假日名词前不加任何冠词。 September 10th is Teachers’ Day. It’s Sunday today. 3、人名、地名、国家名前不加任何冠词。 John lives in Hong Kong. Bejing is the capital of China. 注意： 如果国家的名称是由多个单词来表达的，则要加the. the People’s Republic of China. 中华人民共和国。 the United States of America. 美国 4、学科、语言、称呼的名词前不加任何冠词。 We have Chinese, English and some other subjects. 5、复数名词比表示类别时不加冠词。 I like eating bananas. 6、抽象名词、物质名词泛指时，其前不加冠词。 Water, coal and everything on the earth are different kinds of matter. 7、名词前用了this, that等指示代词，my, their 等物主代词和some, any 等词时，不再加任何冠词。 Some children haven’t been to any foreign countries.
