Following analysis of genomic DNA of the patients, the FSHR gene polymorphisms at position 680 and 307 were divided into 3 groupsrespectively, Asn680/Asn680、Ser680 /Ser680 、Asn680/Ser680；Thr307/Thr307、Ala307/Ala307、Ala307/Thr307.There was a comparison of the distribution of the different genotypes in infertility causes. The basic clinical parameters, ovarian response to gonadotrpins and pregnancy rate in 174 patients following long protocols were evaluated in different receptor isoform.Results: The distribution of genotypes in FSH receptor gene at position 680 was Asn/Asn 52.0%, Ser/Ser 12.1%, Asn/Ser 35.9%；at position 307,the distribution was Ala/Ala 12.1%, Thr/Thr 48.4%，Ala/Thr 39.5% in 223 patients. In patients who underwent long protocols，The homozygous Ser/Servariant at codon 680 and Ala/Ala variant at codon 307 was significantly more prevalent in patients with elevated basal FSH（P＜0.05）；the distribution of FSHR genotype cannot predict which patients will develop OHSS. The distribution of FSHR genotype does not seem to influence pregnancy rate（P＞0.05）.Conclusions: The gene polymorphisms of FSH receptor at position 680 and position 307 (Asn680Ser、Thr307Ala) cannot be a marker to predictdevelopment of OHSS during COH.
