ABSTRACTObjectives:Through field investigation, we acquired implementation of national essential medicine system in community health service institutions, discovered some problems existing in implementation of system, obtained the situation of antibacterial drugs using, analyzed rationality of usage of antibacterial drugs and provided appropriate suggestions for the improvement of national essential medicine system.Method:We randomly selected five township health centers(Gaolong, Haihui, Weijia, Yujiahe, quayside) and four community health service institutes(Wuli, Guilin, Pencheng, Saihu)in Jiujiang.We checked randomly 657 residents, which was 5‰ of population from nine basic medical institutions, including 481 rural residents and 176 urban residents. The survey was accomplished by questionnaire and we inquired of selected residents one by one through anonymous questionnaire. The investigation included cognition of national essential medicine system, the way of obtaining basic drug knowledge and judgment of system, etc.We investigated all clinicians from nine basic medical institutions through questionnaire. The investigation included health technicians’ cognition of national essential drug list and the project effect on clinicians.Through field investigation, we compared total quantity of drugs, quantity of basic drugs, the percentage of basic drugs in total drugs, sales of drugs, sales of basic drugs, change of percentage of basic drugs sales in total drugs sales, the number of basic drugs prescriptions, the sorts of drugs of single prescription, amount of money of basic drugs and the percentage of using of basic drugs in recent three years of basic medical institutions.The dissertation retrospective reviewed prescriptions of nine community health service institutes in Jiujiang from January to December in 2013.
