We can feel the properties of material through touching , extruding and stretching, and the different feelings can give us different emotions, like positive emotion, negative emotion and neutral emotion.Elastic material is defined on the view of force tactile . because of its extensibility, flexibility and elastic recovery, elastic material makes us feel comfortable and soft. In arts, elastic material is not only the important performance object but also the noemal performance media.The representation of material in traditional media art ,such as painting, sculpture, is restricted by the regularization of real world and of expressional form. So the property of representation in traditional art is far, memorial and misty. However, with the appearance of Haptic technology which has multidimensional tactile interaction,multi-sensory interactive environment and diverse emotional interaction ,it gives virtual art a new perceptual model.The thesis tries to contribute an homemade flexible touch screen by polydimethyl siloxane, Kinect, projector and computer ,and design a touchable network elastic material interface based on the homemade flexible touch screen.When touch the touchable network elastic material interface, We get an naturalized, joyful and immersing experience from Virtual of elastic material , direct Haptic interaction .Meanwhile, it create an network elastic material interface space .In this space , subconscious power is externalized by multi-dimensional perception of power .
