Module 8 Around town Unit 1 How do I get to the Forbidden City? 一. 教学内容: Unit 1 How do I get to the Forbidden City? 二. 教材分析: 本单元主要以出行旅游为话题, 通过大量的语言材料集中展示了问路、指路的语言表达方式. 同时对北京的一些著名景点和标志 性建筑也作了简单介绍. 三. 教学目标: 1. 知识目标: 通过学习问路的一些单词和基本句型, 能向别人指路, 掌握 “How do I get to …..? Can you tell me the way to ….? Go straight ahead.” 等等句型. 2. 能力目标: 培养学生把所学的知识运用到现实生活中的能力和探究学习方法. 3. 德育目标: 学会有礼貌的询求别人的帮助. 四. 教学重点: 1. 掌握相关的地点单词以及问路的基本句型. 2. 学会礼貌的寻求别人的帮助. 五. 教学难点: 在模拟情景交际中, 运用得体的语句表达要求. 六. 教具使用: 录音机 电脑 小黑板 教学过程设计方案 Step1 Greeting and Warming-up T: Good morning. Boys and girls! S: Good morning. Miss Lu. T: How are you today? S: Fine, thanks. How are you? T: I’m fine, too. Today, we’re going to learn a new unit. Please get ready for class. Now show me your hands. Let’s sing a song. Just follow me. Do it as quickly as you can. Step 2 Learning the new words Make a PowerPoint before class. Show it on the screen. T: I have got some pictures here. Now please look at the screen. What can you see? S: We can see a …. T: Swimming pool. Follow me. Swimming pool. S: Swimming pool. T: Whole class. (whole class read the new words together) T: Group3\ Group7….(The students in group3\7…. stand up and read the word ) T: Line 2. (The students in the second line stand up and read the word) Point to the picture of swimming pool and help the students say, swimming pool. Point to the picture of bookshop and help the students to say, bookshop. Use the same way to teach and practice bank, market, restaurant, supermarket, park. Words Games Teacher says it in Chinese and get the students to say it in English. (Then exchange). Listening. Listen and match the words with the pictures. Then check. Pair work.
