AbstractAsoneofcurrentpopulartopicsintheapplicationfieldsofthecomputerscience,thepedestriandetectionandtrackingtechnologysegmentsthepedestrianfromtheimageandthentracksthepedestrianinordertoanalysisthepedestrianspostureandmovementtrends.Atpresent,thepedestriandetectiontechnologyusuallyusesthesinglecamera,whichsegmentsandtracksthepedestrianfromanimage.Fromthe3dworldtotwo-dimensionalimages,onedimensionalinformationisloss.Soresearchingonthebinocularvisionhasveryimportantsignificanceintargetdetection,targettracking,thethreedimensionalinformationretrieval.Basedonresearchstatusathomeandabroadofthetargetdetection,thecommonlyusedtargetdetectionalgorithmsaredescribedandcomparedtheiradvantagesanddisadvantages.Sothemethodbasedonstereovisionbackgrounddifferencemethodandgraybackgrounddifferencemethodisproposed.Themethodcanbegoodatdetectingthetargetandprovidingeffective3dinformationof3dreconstruction.Atpresent,theresearchofextractingandmatching3dbodyarticulationpointsaremostlyrealizedbymanualintervention.Accordingtothissituation,inthispapertheextractionof3dbodyarticulationpointsisautomatic.Firstly,thetwo-dimensionalfeaturepointsareextractedusingAPARarea.Secondly,thetwodimensionalfeaturepointsarereconstructedto3dbyusingcameracalibrationtechniqueandstereomatchingtechnology.Finally,sixteenbodyarticulationpointsareextractedbyusingthe3dbodymodelandhumanmotionconstraints.3dbodyarticulationpointsareconnectedwithstraightlineinordertoreconstructingthepedestrianposture.Fortrackingthepedestrian,thepositionof3dbodyarticulationpointsispredictedbyusingthekalmanfilter,thematchingrelationsof3dbodyarticulationpointsareestablishedbetweentwoframes,whenthetrackingerroriscausedbytherapidlychangingtrajectoryofthepedestrianmovementorselfocclusion,thetrackingresultsarecorrectedbyusingthehumanbodyconstraintconditions.Theexperimenthasrealizedtargetdetectionbythemethodbasedonstereovisionbackgrounddifferencemethodandgraybackgrounddifferencemethod.Atthesametime,basedonthecameracalibrationandstereomatchingtech
