ResearchonDifficultiesandCountermeasuresofDeepPitExcavationinGarbageSoilEnvironmentAbstractQingdaoNorthStationislocatedinthereclamationareaoflandfill.Asaresearchobject,thestationhadbeenmonitoredthoroughlyduringconstruction.Thestratumfromtoptobottomisconstructionsolidwaste,municipalsolidwaste,argillaceoussiltyclay,siltyclay,rhyolite,argillaceoussandstone,tuff,etc.Solidwastelayersis4~12m.Themainstructureofthisstationisconstructedbyopen-cutmethod.Themainresearchincludesfourpartsasfollowed:Landfillgarbagesoilphysicalandmechanicalpropertiestesting:researchathomeandabroadforreference,thephysicalandmechanicalpropertiesofgarbagesoiltestmethod,testbytestmeansthe4m,8m,12mgarbagelandfillsitesoilphysicalandmechanicalproperties,andconnectingwiththefieldmeasureddata,giventhelandfillgarbagesoilshearingstrengthindexinthesuggestedvalue;Duringtheconstructionoftheboredpilesmethod,itfoundthattheholecollapsebecomeserious,itwillnotonlyaffectthequalityandthespeedofpile,butalsocauseseriouswasteofcement,sothegarbagesoilholewallstabilityisaproblemurgentlytobesolved.Boredpilesbasedontheinvestigationandstudyoftheengineeringholeandtheholediameterofpilecollapsephenomenon,fromtheengineeringpropertiesofgarbagesoil,leachateandwastesoillayerthicknessandconstructionmachinery,suchasfactoranalysisofthemechanismandreasonofthesephenomena,andputsforwardcorrespondingpreventivemeasures,toprovidereferenceforsimilarengineering;Amechanicalbehaviorofsolidwasteduringfoundationpitexcavationisdiscussedonthebaseofthein-situmonitoringresultsofearthpressureandfieldmeasureddatainsolidwaste.Duringexcavation,thesoilstrengthincreases,whichismostlybecauseofthevariancesofcharacteristicsofsoilinunloadingstate.Measurementofearthpressureislessthancomputation,andthevaluegraduallydecreasesduringexcavation.Intheend,ittendstobestableorslightlyhigherthantheminimum.Comparedwithsoftsoil,thechangeisnotonlyrelatedtothedeformationbutalsothechangeofsoilproperty,especially,theinfluenceoffibertotheshearstrengthofsolidwaste.Byanalyzingchan
