AbstractCigarettesortingsystemisanimportantpartofthetobaccologisticssystem,whichismainlyresponsibleforsortingoutappropriatenumberandtypeofcigarettesaccordingtocustomerrequirements.Themeasureofcigarettesortingincludes:manualoperationsorting,semi-automaticsortingandautomaticsorting.Ashighsortingspeed,lowinputcosts,smallfootprint,etc,Verticalsemi-automaticsortinglinehavewidelyusedinmunicipaltobaccocompany.However,duetomanualloadingcigarette,Verticalsemi-automaticsortinglineexistmanyproblems,forexample,requiringalotofmanpower,highlaborintensity,slowloadingcigarette,etc.Therefore,therealizationofautomaticloadingcigaretteofcigarettesortinglinehasbecomeanurgentproblemcurrently.Thispaperanalyzesthecigarettesortingsystemsresearchstatusanddesignedaoverallplanforthemechanicalstructureofautomaticloadingcigarettedevice.Bymodulingdesignmethod,themodelofhorizontalloadingcigarettedevice,verticalloadingcigarettedeviceIandverticalloadingcigarettedeviceIIhasbeenbuilt.Horizontalloadingcigarettedeviceismainlyconsistedofthemodulofturning,translationanddetrusion,themodelofcachechannelandthemodelofsupport.Verticalloadingcigarettedeviceismainlyconsistedofthemodulofturning,liftinganddetrusion,themodelofcachesupport,themodeloflifting,translationanddetrusion.Theprinciplesofmotionandthemeasurefordrivinghasbeendeeplyanalysed.Accordingtotheworkflowoftheloadingcigarettedevice,createaworkflowmodelforsortingchannelandloadingcigarettedevice,respectively.Theperformanceofhorizontalloadingcigarettedevice,verticalloadingcigarettedeviceIandIIhasbeentested.Usingsimulationsoftware,testthesystemperformanceoftheautomaticloadingcigarettedevice,whichconsistsofsub-moduleincludingsortingchannelmodelandloadingcigarettedevicemodel,andanalyzethereasonfordowntime.Thispaperhasstudiedthestrategyofautomaticloadingcigarette,includingthecigarettechannelallocationstrategy,thesequencestrategyofcigaretteordersandthesequencestrategyofloadingcigarette.ThroughoptimizingautomaticloadingcigaretteII-process,hasimprovedperformanceo
