Abstract: A cumulantsbased algorithm for estimating the signaltonoise ratio (SNR) of M SK signals is proposed on the as
sumption of unknownphase levelorders and unknown symbol sequence of theM SK signals in the received data. Computer simulation
results show that, with adequately long received data, the proposed algorithm gives an accurate estimation in a ratherwide input SNR
range from 0dB to 25dB. Furthermore, the method to improve the estimation precision of the proposed algorithm is discussed.
