摘要如今，世界处在一个多元文化交流的时代，也正在向一个整体的趋势发展。各国文化的精华正日益迅速地为中华文化所汲取，而无论西方和东方，也都需要从中国文化中汲取养分。而作为最重要的交流工具，翻译也逐渐开始关注文化层面。很多国内外学者从文化的角度重新考虑翻译和文化的关系。其中，刘宓庆的文化翻译理论是助推中国文化传播的利器之一。这一理论的提出，为中国的翻译研究带来重大的影响。杜甫的诗作，被保留下来的有1400多首。其深刻的思想内容和丰富多彩的艺术表现手法，无可争辩地证明，杜诗是中国古典文学中一座特别挺拔的高峰。杜甫的作品内容涉及自然风光的描绘，古今人事的评述，自身遭际的感叹，能人技艺的描写以及对飞禽走兽的刻画。其诗歌被翻译成日，意，法，俄等多种语言，英语译本也多种多样。虽然西方译者竭力从文化层面考虑翻译杜甫诗歌，然而他们却是西方语境下培养出来的知识分子，可能会造成中西方文化之间的隔阂。杜甫的诗歌被人们誉为“史诗”，是中国古典文化的瑰宝。本论文立足于现有的研究，依据刘宓庆的文化翻译理论，从文化角度分析杜甫诗歌。文章分为六章，包括简介和总结。第二章是对文化翻译的回顾以及对刘宓庆文化翻译理论的简单介绍。第三章是对诗人杜甫及其诗歌的介绍。第四章和第五章是根据刘宓庆文化翻译理论对杜甫诗歌的文化翻译分析。本文根据国内翻译理论研究中文化翻译的代表人物刘宓庆的文化翻译理论，试图在现有研究基础之上，从文化层面细致深入地剖析杜甫诗歌及其译本，通过例证来说明处理诗歌文化翻译策略，为未来的中国古典诗歌翻译提供有益的借鉴。关键词：刘宓庆文化翻译理论；杜甫诗歌；英译AbstractNowtheworldhasbeeninamulti-culturalcommunicationeraandismovinginthedirectionofbecominganintegratedentity.ChinaisacceleratingitspaceofabsorptiontothebestpartsoftheculturesofothersandthereisnodoubtthatboththeWestandtheEastneedthenourishmentofChineseculture.Asthemostimportanttoolincommunication,translationstartstolayitsemphasisontheculture.Manyscholarsbegantoreconsidertranslationfromtheculturalperspectiveandtodiscusstherelationshipbetweentranslationandculture，inthelightofwhichculturaltranslationtheoryhastakenintoform.LiuMiching’sculturaltranslationtheoryissuchacomprehensivetheoryframeworkwhichisquiteadaptableforthetransmissionofChinesetraditionalculture.HistheoryhaspushedtranslationstudiesastepforwardandbroughtaprofoundinfluenceinthefieldoftranslationstudiesinChina.Over1400extantpoemsbyTuFuhaveindisputablyevidencedthemselvesasapeakintraditionalChineseliteraturethroughtheirprofoundmessagesandrichartisticmerits.Hispoemstouchuponareassuchasthedescriptionofnature,thecommentaryonhistoricalfigures,thelamentationonhisexperiencetheportrayalofskilledcraftsmenandthedepictionofbirdsandanimals.Hispoemshavebeentranslatedintomanylanguages,suchasJapanese,French,andItalianandRussian.TherealsoexistlargeamountsoffamousEnglishtranslationversionsinwesterncountries.Althoughwesterntranslatorstrytheirbesttotakecultureint
