ABSTRACTUndertheinfluenceofinfrastructureconstruction,industrialandagriculturalproduction,ecologicalenvironmentconstructionandotherhumanactivities,theunderlyingsurfaceofHaiheRiverBasinhaschanged,whichledtothevariationofdesignfloodaccordingly.Soitisnecessarytorevisetheparametersofreservoirinflowdesignfloodaftertheunderlyingsurfaceconditionschangeinordertoadjustmethodsandlayoutsoffloodcontrolprojects.BaseontheHaiheriverbasin,thisstudyanalyzedtherevisingmethodsofthedesignfloodunderthechangeofunderlyingsurfaceandrevisedthedesignfloodofDaqingheriverbasin.Themaincontentandresultsareasfollows:Statisticsofflooddatainthetypicalregions.Typicalfloodeventswereselected,rainfallandrunoffdataineveryfloodeventwereextractedincludingtotalrainfall,peakflow,floodvolume,runoff,surfacerunoff,antcedentprecipitationandsoon.Baseonthelong-termhydrologicalobservationdata,thetrendsofprecipitationandrunoffwereanalyzedusingSpearmantest，Mann-Kendalltestandmovingaverage.Breakpointsweredetectedbysequentialclusteringmethod,smoothingFtestanddoublemasscurve.Accordingtotheresults,theprecipitationandpeakflowintworeservoirsbothshowedadecreasingtrendandthebreakpointwas1979.Thecorrelationanalysisofprecipitationandrunoffandtheforwardrestoreofflood.Runoffproducingparameterssuchasmaximumstoragecapacity,evaporationfromwatersurfaceandsoilmoisturecontentwereanalyzedandthecorrelationanalysisbetweenprecipitationandrunoffwasdonebeforeandafterthebreakpoint.Therelationshipbetweenprecipitationandrunoffbefore1980wasrevisedbythatafter1980.Sotheinfluenceonfloodvolumeofchangingunderlyingsurfacewasstudiedandthetimeseriesoffloodvolumewasrestored.Correlationdiagramsindifferentperiodswereplottedandthevariationoffloodpeakwasestimatedaccordingtofloodvolume,thusthetimeseriesoffloodpeakwasrestored.Thecomputeofdesignfloodprocess.Thedesignfloodwascomputedaccordingtofrequencyanalysisoffloodbeforeandafterrevise.Theresultsshowedthatthefloodpeakandfloodvolumebothshowedadecreasingtrendduetounderlyingsurfacechangesespeciallythosecausedby
