It refers to the language used to express the topics and activities and embodies the concept of language function. Field is one of the main elements that decide the stylistic features of the text. The Brand is an information text which elucidates the definition, management and investment of brand, which belongs to the academic text. The topic and its language scope decide the stylistic features of the text.The field factors of The Brand are reflected in its professional terminologies, jargons and some fixed common sentence structures, etc. The brand is translated for the professors and students in this field. They are familiar with the topic and the stylistic features of this text and the content of the brand, so that the translation strategies are chosen with the purpose of reflecting textual features of the source text. When it comes to the translation of terminologies, referring to the professional books and literature on them is a good choice. As to the translation of other terms, like nouns and modifiers, it is better to use the expressions which are always used in the field, namely, the jargons.
