音韵文字、章句训诂等考证方法，展开了对史学文献的研究。这种求真务实的根本目的是为了恢复典籍原貌，将治学求实的精神寓于校勘辨伪之中，让传统的回 归传统，实现对历史文献的考据活动，从文献的层面去接近文字中的古代世界。由于篇幅所限，难以对众多乾嘉学者进行逐个细致的研究，所以本文将从其 中选取被称作乾嘉考史三大家的王鸣盛、钱大昕、赵翼，以他们的代表作《十七 史商榷》、《廿二史考异》、《廿二史札记》作为研究切入点，考论乾嘉学者在校勘 史文、考证史事、按断史评方面的诸多成就，探寻他们在史籍文献研究中的视角 与线索，论述他们在考证史学方面的贡献与成就。基于以上的认识，在具体的立论写作上，本文分为五部分。绪论综述清代前 期对新旧《唐书》研究的发展源流，阐明本文的研究目的、研究方法和研究意义， 明确论述乾嘉史学的范围；正文三章着重讨论和分析乾嘉史学的代表人物王鸣 盛、钱大昕、赵翼在新旧《唐书》研究活动中，如何在校勘史文、考证史事、案 断史评等方面取得的研究成果，以及通过他们在新旧《唐书》考证活动中的具体 实例，详细分析乾嘉考证史学的具体现象；结论从历史文献学的角度出发，评价 清代学者包括乾嘉学者在内的在新旧《唐书》上的总体贡献，探讨乾嘉考证史学 对当今史学发展将会起到的积极作用。关键词：乾嘉学者，《新唐书》，《旧唐书》，考证史学AbstractThe historical research depends on the knowledge of textual and historical study on classical books. Qian-Jia scholars study the essence of historical documents in the criteria and collative way. During the Qian-Jia period, academicians use collative method to research historical texts, the academic field was totally occupied by Pu Xue. In the Qian-Jia era, Pu Xue reached its peak, many scholars of the Qian-Jia era not only affected the Qing Dynasty, but had greatly influenced the development of academic in the future. Qian-Jia academicians were inclined to a realistic philosophy, they believe literature research in the history books would summarize the events of history, identify the law of historical writing, and get clear investigation in textual correction. These results are mainly in collating the words of history books, researching historical events, making historical review and so on. Their research in trying to restore the original appearance of ancient books is under the guidance of textual and historical study of documents. Qian-Jia scholars distinguished the documents and investigate into the summary of the historical law. The contribution of Qian-Jia scholars, not only make ancient books more easily in reading, but also conducive to creative writing of history books.Research history of Tang Dynasty, should research Old and New Tang Books, and the relevant historical literature of Tang Dynasty.
