However, infrastructure constructions cycle is long and require a lot of construction funds, which is not enough by relying on government funds, so we must strive to broaden the financing channels. While the BOT project financing become the new method of financing in large-scale project, it has been more and more applied to infrastructure construction in China .It can not only relief the governments burden, but also can bring the considerable income for the investors and obtains good social effectHowever, due to the complexity of BOT financing, adds our country’s risk management theory and method backwardness, how to carry on the risk management with scientific and effective way become the key to BOT’s success. This article describes the characteristics of BOT project financing and its practical significance. Then based on this, I focus on the application situation of the BOT project financing in our country and the existence questions and risks, after that
