found that learners successful uptake in classroom-based communicative lessons was a strong predictor of their ability to subsequently correct their errors in tailor-made tests administered to individual students.
Loewen and Philp (2006)
investigated the effect of different characteristics of recasts (e.g., linguistic focus, length, number of changes, segmentation) on individual learners’ uptake and acquisition, as measured by tailor-made tests. Based on the analysis of a questionnaire on teachers and learners perception of the corrective feedback at classroom language teaching ,this article aims to find out their differences and similarities in viewing corrective feedback and different feedback types. Meanwhile, an attempt is made to figure out students preference in feedback types so as to inform teachers of effective and successful feedback.
Result shows that although the teachers and students all think corrective feedback is good for classroom teaching, students favorite feedback way is inconsistent with teachers commonly used way.;Wang Xiaohui(2011)
