Study on stability of building foundation above mining
goaf and technical countermeasures

Abstract :From the requirements of the building projects above the mine goaf ，the paper introduced the survey technology
of the mine goaf and provided the application conditions of the three physical exploration methods． With the calculation on
the height and loading of the crack zone affected to the depth ，the paper analyzed the reliability of the foundation space．
With the comparison between the remained movement deformation of the surface ground and the tolerance value of the
buildings (or structures )，the anti deformation capacity was analyzed． The paper systematically provided that the
suitability area of the foundation above the goaf could be divided into five types． In combination with the typical project
cases ，the paper summarized the relative technical countermeasures of the goaf projects．
