ABSTRACTThepowersystemisacomplexnonlinearandunifiedwhole,powerelectronicequipmentsuchasFACTSandHVDCaddstothenon-linearcharacteristicsofthesystem,whichimprovethestabilityoftheoverallsystembutmakethecontrolofpowersystemsbecomemorecomplex.Theindividualcontrollersbetweeneachotherinthesystemareinterrelated,anditisnecessarytostudythecoordinationcontrolbetweenthevariouscomponentsofthecontrollers,whichcanbetterimprovethestabilityofthepowersystem.Thepaper,basedonthetypicalstand-aloneinfinityACandDCparallelsystemastheresearchobject,themainworksareorganizedasfollows:Adynamicmodelisestablishedforasingle-machineinfinitebussystemwithparallelAC/DCtransmissionlines,inwhichthedynamicregulatingprocessofthegenerator,excitationcontrollerandHVDCareconsideredcomprehensively.Theauxiliarymodulatingsignalsofthecurrentcontrollerattherectifierandtheextinctionanglecontrollerattheinverter,andthereferencevoltageofexciterarechosentobecontrolvariables.Thentheall-statefeedbacklinearoptimalcontrollerisdesigned.Thedigitalsimulationresultsshowthatthelinearoptimalcontrollerwithfull-statefeedbackhasbetterdynamicperformanceandcanimprovethesystemtransientstabilitymoreeffectivelycomparedwiththeconventionalcontroller.Adynamicmodelisestablishedforasingle-machineinfinitebussystemwithparallelAC/DCtransmissionlines,inwhichthedynamicregulatingprocessofthegeneratorandHVDCareconsideredcomprehensively,andtheexcitationcontrollerisneglected.Themodulatingsignalsoffiringdelayangleattherectifierandtriggerleadangleattheinverter,andtheexcitationvoltagearechosentobecontrolvariables.TheoffsetofthecurrentofDClineandtriggerleadangleattheinverteandthepowerangleofgeneratorarechosentobecontroloutputs.Thenanonlinearoptimalcoordinationcontrollerisdesignedforthesystemunderstudyaccordingtostatefeedbackexactlinearizationtheory.Thedigitalsimulationresultsshowthatthiscontrollerhasthebestdynamicperformanceandcanenhancethesystemtransientstabilityobviously.Theexactlinearizationcontrollercomparedwithconventionalcontrolandlinearoptimalcontr
