翻译记忆库在翻译实践中的应用——以 Search EngineMarketing，Inc 翻译项目为例摘要在全球经济一体化的时代，尤其随着国际国内市场交流与融合步伐的加快，中国翻译市场正以前所未有的速度迅猛发展，翻译的产业化发展趋势不断加强。为提高翻译效率和翻译质量，计算机辅助翻译在翻译实践中得到广泛应用。它不同于机器翻译，不依赖于计算机的自动翻译，而是辅助人工完成整个翻译流程。翻译记忆是计算机辅助翻译的核心技术之一，在翻译过程中实时记忆翻译过的句段，后续翻译中，每当相同或相近的句段出现时，系统会自动提示用户使用记忆库中存储的译文。用户可以根据自己的需要采用、舍弃或编辑重复出现的文本。翻译记忆库质量的优劣会直接影响后续翻译产出的质量。本文以 Search Engine Marketing，Inc 翻译项目为例，通过案例分析,阐述翻译记忆库在译前、译中和译后的应用，说明创建翻译记忆库的重要性。但是创建高质量的翻译记忆库并非易事，作者建议通过组建专业团队和规范工作流程入手，保障记忆库质量，提高翻译效率。关键词：计算机辅助翻译；翻译效率；翻译记忆库ITHE APPLICATION OF TRANSLATION MEMORY IN TRANSLATION PRACTICE—A CASE STUDY BASED ON TRANSLATION PROJECT OF SEARCH ENGINE MARKETING, INCABSTRACTWith the advent of global economic integration and the further exchanges between domestic and international markets, China’s translation industry is developing rapidly. Computer-Aided Translation (CAT) tools are applied to improve the quality and productivity of translation. CAT is different from machine translation in that it does not solely rely on the automatic translation of computer software. The core technology of Computer-Aided Translation is Translation Memory (TM). In the process of translation, referential translations will be presented if the source sentence matches the one stored in TM at certain matching rates set by the translator. The translator can decide whether to adopt or reject the referential translations. The quality of TM has an important impact on the translation process and its output text.Based on the translation project of Search Engine Marketing ，Inc, this thesiselaborates the functions of a TM in the process of translation.
