    AbstractChinaisnowinthetransformationperiodfromproductionsocietytoConsumptionsociety.Inthiscontext,femalegraduates,asaspecialconsumergroupshavewhatkindsofconsumptionbehaviors,howthebehaviorsshow,andtheirattitudesaboutphysicalappearances.Themainresearchofthispaperisfemalegraduates’levelofself-esteem,theirattitudesaboutdealingwiththephysicalappearanceandhowthelevelofself-esteemimpactphysicalappearance.Thisstudyisbelongtotheempiricalresearch,usingthequantitative（primary）andqualitative（complementary）researchmethod,theresearchobjectisfemalegraduatestudent(notincludingfemaledoctoralstudents),inthispapertheselectionofrespondentsisfromHuazhonguniversityofscienceandtechnology(excludingTongjiuniversitycampus)full-timefemalegraduatestudent.Someparticipantswillbeextractedastheobjectofdepthinterview,toaccessrelevantqualitativematerial,atlastwewillformaquestionnairecoding,andputsurveydataintothecomputer,andmakeanalysisunderSPSSsoftware,mainlyincludingdescriptivestatisticsandstatisticalinference.Theresultsofthestudyshowthat,comparingwithfemaleundergraduates;femalegraduatesarestrongerinconsumption.Bodyconsumptionbecomesthesecondlargestproject,onlyafterfoodconsumption.Femalegraduates’bodyconsumptionisvarious;thefocusoffemalegraduates’bodyconsumptionisfacialconsumptionandclothingconsumption.Intheprocessofconsumption,femalegraduatesshowthecharacteristicsofrationalandperceptual.Thestatusoffemalegraduate’sself-esteemis,self-esteemscoreis22-40,themodefocuseson30-31points,accountingfor29.2%ofthetotalnumberofinvestigation.Thestatusoftheattitudeaboutphysicalappearanceis,generallypositiveandsatisfactory,andbehavesrationallyinthetreatmentoftheunhealthyreducingweightandplasticsurgery.Therelationshipsoflevelofself-esteemandtheattitudeaboutphysicalappearanceis,thehighlevelfemalegraduatesofself-esteemhavehighcontentwithphysicalappearancethanthelowone.Theyconsiderthatpeoplehavepositiveattitudesabouttheirphysical.Becauseofthephysicalappearance,theydonotfeelstronglydisordersinsocialcommunication,and
