With the development of steel industry, raw material inventory control problem of iron and steel enterprises has received more and more attention in the practical production and research.First, we summarize and analyze the inventory characteristics and existing problems of the iron and steel enterprises main raw material as well as the types and characteristics of raw material based on the analysis of production logistics of iron and steel enterprises. According to proper inventory control method which is aim at the problems of original fuel inventory management, proposes the strategy of raw material inventory control of iron and steel enterprises.Secondly, through the research and improvement of ABC inventory classification method, analysis the price factor and consumption factor respectively, using fuzzy clustering analysis method to classify the raw material of iron
