AbstractAsRDF(ResourceDescriptionFramework)dataisflexibletobeexpressedandeasytobeinterchanged,thevolumeofRDFdataisincreasingatanamazingspeed.TraditionalRDFstoragesystemseitheruseRDBMSasstoragebackendoradoptnativestorage.However,thesemethodsdonotfocusonthescalability.Therearesomesystemswhichsacrificestoragespacetoovercomethisproblem.However,theredundantdataandnotcompactstorageschemeresultinthelowefficiencyinthequeryplangenerationandqueryexecutionperiods.TripleBitaimstoproposeanefficientmethodindatastorageandqueryprocessingforlargescaleRDFdatainseveralaspects.DuetothefeatureofRDFdata,itcanberepresentedasacorrelationbit-matrix,anddifferentcompressionalgorithmsareappliedonthedatatablesaccordingtothefeatureandfunctionofthetablestoreducethestoragespace.What’smore,memorybasedstoragelayerisemployedtoreducetheI/Oconsumption.Thedatatablesarepartitionedintoseveralchunkswhichnotonlyfacilitatethebuffermanagementbutalsomakethedatamorecompactthereforeitcanacceleratethequeryprocessing.InordertospeedupthesearchingofRDFdata,twoindexesaredesignedwhichareusedtolocatethedatachunkandgetthecandidaterecordsofpredicate-unknownquerypatternsrespectively.WhentheRDFdataisqueried,heuristicrulesbasedqueryplangeneratorisusedwhichissimplebutefficienttogeneratequeryplan.Duringexecutingthequeryplans,differentexecutionstrategiesareusedaccordingtothetypesofqueryplans,andutilizetheparallelsubsystemtomakethejoinoperatorfaster.Besides,two-stageexecutionstrategyisusedinmultiple-variablequerywhichcanreducetheintermediateresult.TheperformanceevaluationiscomparedwiththestateofartRDFstorageenginenamedRDF-3X.ExperimentalresultsdemonstratethatTripleBitsavesatleast40%storagespacewhilethespeedofqueryprocessinghasbeenimprovedatleastthreetimes.Extensiveexperimentsshowtheindexesandqueryplangeneratorcontributealottothehighperformance.Keywords:ResourceDescriptionFramework,Semanticdatarepresentation,Queryprocessing,Datacompression,Indexing目录摘要IAbstractII1绪论1.1研究意义(1)1.2国内外研究现状(2)1.3研究背景及研究内容(8)1.4论文组织结构(8)2高扩展的RDF数据存储系统
