21世纪的今天，世界形势和人类发展前途，存在着这样的现实，一个是“全球化”趋势日益显著，另一个是民族主义的滋长、民族国家的强化。二者的冲突排拒使若干国际形势观察家和未来学家感到困惑和不安。如何看待这些问题，20世纪40年代“民族形式”问题论争探讨了文学的演变趋向：融入世界与转向民族传统的多元化诉求与选择，为我们提供了理解问题的资料，提供了分析问题的方法。关键词：40年代；民族形式；现代性；民族性；世界性ABSTRACTThedebateon“nationalform”in1940s’isanotherconstructivedebatefullofliteratureontologicalsignificanceinChineseliteraturehistoryafterthe“man’sliterature”inMay4thperiod.Itisoftheoreticaldepthandpracticalsignificanceinthemodernliteraturedevelopment.Itisalsoaresearchtopicattachedgreatimportancetobydomesticacademiccirclesalongtime.Basedontheexistingresearchresults,thethesisintendstomakeasystemicexplorationandacomprehensiveanalysisinthestart,progress,historicalcontent,historicalnatureandvalueandsignificanceofthedebateon“nationalform”in1940s’,underthebackgroundthe20thcenturyChinesesocialpolitics,economy,historyandculture.Thedebateon“nationalform”in1940slaunchedinmorethantencitiesandcarriedoutinover40typesofnewspapers,thedebateinvolvedmorethantensymposiums,hundredsofarticlesandnearly100authors.Beingcloselyrelatedtothewholesocialhistoricalenvironmentofanti-Japaneseatthattime,thedebateistherequirementofthenewliteraturesincetheMay4thandahistoricalnecessitysetbyliteraturemovement,especiallythecreationpracticesinceanti-JapaneseWar.Thedebatemainlyrevolvedaroundwhat“nationalform”ofliteratureshouldbeandhowtocreatethe“nationalform”.Tothedebaters,thenewnationalformliteratureshouldbeunityofcontentandform,withitscentralsourcebeingthereallifeofthenation.ItshouldinherittheChinesetraditionalliteraturelongitudinallyandborrowtheadvancedworldliteraturetransversely,withitsdevelopmentorientationbeingthenewartrepresentedbyLuXun.Itshouldcharacterizenationality,internationalism,aboriginalityandmodernity,etc.Intheprocessofdetailedinterpretation,thethesisfallsintothefollowingseveralaspects:Bydatingbackthedebateonnationalformliterature,thisthesisproposesthatitistheinherentrequirementofnationalcrisisandnationalculturerenaissance,andthepropositionofautologousrequirementsofnationalizationandintern
