ABSTRACTTheheatingperformanceoftheconventionalairsourceheatpumpwithsingle-stagecompression(SSC)cycleseverelydecreasesunderlowambienttemperaturecondition.Itcaneffectivelyimprovetheheatingcapacityoftheheatpumpsystemandreducethedischargetemperatureofthecompressortousetheeconomizedvaporinjection(EVI)technique.Inaddition,theuseofenvironmentallyfriendlyrefrigerantR32intheairsourceheatpump(ASHP)unitcanreducetheamountoftherefrigerantchargeandincreasetheeconomicbenefits.Therefore,theheatingperformanceoftheEVIASHPsystemusingR32inthisstudyisofimportanttheoreticalsignificanceandpracticalvalue.Firstly,onthebasisoftheoreticalanalysisaboutthecompressionprocesswithinjectioninagas-injectedscrollcompressor,thecomputerprogramtosimulatetheperformanceoftheEVIheatpumpsystemwasdevelopedbyEESsoftwareinthispaper.TheheatingperformanceoftheEVIheatpumpsystemandSSCheatpumpsystemunderdifferentconditionsweresimulated,andtheeffectoftheinjection-holelocationontheheatingperformanceoftheEVIheatpumpsystemwasanalyzed.Secondly,theEVIheatpumpprototypewastestedinthepsychrometricrooms.TheheatingperformanceofheatpumpasSSCsystemmodelandEVIsystemmodelunderdifferentworkingconditionwasmeasured.Theeffectsoftheinjectionpressureontheinjectionratio,heatingcapacity,powerconsumption,heatingCOPanddischargetemperatureofcompressoroftheEVIsystemwereanalyzed,andtheheatingperformanceoftheEVIsystemandSSCsystemwascompared.Finally,thesimulateddatawerecomparedwiththeexperimentalresults.Theconclusionsareasfollows:Theexperimentalresultsindicatethattheinjectionratio,heatingcapacityandpowerconsumptionoftheEVIsystemincreaseasaresultoftheincreaseoftheinjectionpressure,andthedischargetemperaturereduceswiththeincreaseintheinjectionpressure.Astheambienttemperatureisbelow-5℃,theheatingCOPincreasesandthendecreaseswiththeincreaseoftheinjectionpressure.Sothereisanoptimuminjectionpressure,atwhichtheheatingCOPoftheEVIsystemreachesthemaximumvalue.FortheEVIheatpumpsystem,theoptimuminjectionpressureisobservedbetween1.67MPato1.78MPa.Thesimulated
