Kibbe, M.D., M.B.A. Director, Center for Health Information Technology, American Academy of Family Physicians.Washington, DC, Dr. Kibbe is the Director of the Center for Health Information Technology for the American Academy of Family Physicians (AAFP), the membership organization that represents over 95,000 U.S. family doctors. In this position, he is responsible for formulating AAFP strategic direction and policy affecting a broad range of information and communications technology initiatives, including HIPAA, electronic health records, computer security, practice management systems, and quality measurement.
