ABSTRACTBackground：Alphafetoprotein(AFP)isanindicatorofhighspecificityinthediagnosisofprimaryhepaticcarcinoma(PHC),butthesensitivityislow.WhereasAFPnegativecannotevaluatetheprognosisofPHC,searchingforothersensitiveandspecificmarkersisahotspotforPHCresearch.Interleukin8(IL-8)canstimulatetumorcellstoproliferateandpromotetumorangiogenesis,anddes-γ-carboxyprothrombin(DCP)caninduceintrahepaticmetastasisandinvasionofcancercells.ThetwobothhavepotentialclinicalpracticalvalueforthediagnosisandprognosisofPHC.Objective:1、TodetectthelevelofIL-8andDCPinbenignandmalignantliverdiseasepatientsandhealthycontrols,observingthetwoindicatorscomparedwiththeadvantagesanddisadvantagesofAFPandthediagnosticvalueondifferentliverdiseases.2、Toanalyzethechangesinthetwoindicatorsoftranscatheterarterialchemoembolization(TACE)inpatientswithPHCbeforeoperation,discussingthevalueofIL-8andDCPindiagnosisofPHCanddeterminingtheprognosticvalueofTACE,andfurthermoreobservingthesignificanceoftheindicatorsinthetimingfortreatment,thefollow-upafteroperation,tumorrecurrenceandmetastasis.Method:ThesubjectsareinpatientsdiagnosedwithPHCinourhospitalfromJanuary,2014toDecember,2014.Atotalof174casesinthestudyinclude100casesofPHCpatients,26patientswithlivercirrhosis,22casesofhepatitis,26casesofhealthycontrols.Maleaccountedfor125casesandfemale49cases.Theyoungestis13years-IV-old,whilemaximum81yearsold,meanage51.1±14.8yearsold,medianage52yearsold.Allselectedcandidateswerecarriedoutacomprehensiveevaluationsuchassymptomsandsigns,bloodcount,liverfunction,coagulation,AFPandotherlaboratoryexaminations,andupperabdominalenhancedCTand/orenhancedMRIimageand/orBultrasoundexamination.WehadobservedthelevelofIL-8DCPandfollow-upsurvivaltimeforpatientswithPHCaftertreatmentofTACE.Results:1、DCPlevelsofPHCgroupcomparedwithothergroups,wereextremelysignificantlyincreased(P0.01).SerumIL-8levelsofPHCgroupcomparedwithhealthycontrols,wereextremelysignificantlyhigher(P0.01),comparedwiththoseincirrhosis,hepatitisgroup,withnosignificantdifference(P0
