摘要语义场指的是词汇是一个综合体系，在意义上相互关联且可分为语义相关组或场的 语言现象。语义场中的词汇按照其带有的常见概念的核心含义组合在一起，他们似乎共 同拥有大量的搭配。从关联词汇意义方面来看，每个语义场中的词汇为彼此定义。1924 年，法国学者 G.Ipsen 首先提出“语义场”这个术语，20 世纪 30 年代早期，J. Trier 创 立了语义场理论，而被推崇为语义场理论创始人。20 世纪 70 年代，John Lyons 认为， 只要在意义上有任何联系的词都属于同一语义场，并且认为语义场仅仅存在于词汇范 畴，所以他把语义场等同于词汇场。中国学者在语义场研究方面也有卓越的成就。孙明 亮把语义场定义为意义的存在场合和应用范畴；王勤对于这些现象却持不同观点，他在 他的《语义领域》一书中，认为：“语义领域是由概念意义和联想意义之间的相互联系 而形成的固定搭配，这两种意义是源自于一个词和与之相联系的词”。这些不同意见显 示了中国语言学家对语义场理论的独到见解。因此，其对于语义研究的发展是很有帮助 的，同时也避免了词汇语义模糊。研究语义场时，最重要的步骤是制定清晰的语义场界 限，以便可以确认语义场的范围，并能够在将来对其进行科学描述。本论文着眼于语义 场理论，并研究了语义场理论与《红楼梦》翻译的关系以及在《红楼梦》译本中文本处 理技巧的应用。本文第一章主要是研究背景和《红楼梦》的各种译本介绍以及本文的写作目的。第 二章是关于语义场理论的起源、类型、特点和功能等，语义场理论对翻译具有重要的作 用。第三章是语义场理论在《红楼梦》翻译中文本处理技巧的应用，这一章分为两部分， 分别介绍了语义场理论在亲属称谓、颜色词汇翻译中的应用。第四章是关于《红楼梦》 翻译中的语义模糊以及语义场理论在语义模糊翻译中的应用，语义模糊是语言不可缺少 的一部分，并且能够具有特殊幽默效果。最后一章是总结部分，语义场理论与翻译具有 千丝万缕的联系，本文给予读者和翻译者的这些提示，希望能够后人在翻译《红楼梦》 时合理利用语义场理论，以达到更好的翻译效果。关键词：语义场理论、《红楼梦》、翻译、语义模糊AbstractSemantic field is a term referring to the linguistic phenomenon that the vocabulary is an integrated system which is interrelated in sense and can be divided into semantically related sets or fields. The words in a semantic field are joined together according to the core meaning of the common concept the words carry, and they are likely to have a number of collocations in common. Words in each semantic field define each other in terms of the related lexical sense. It was the French scholar G.Ipsen who first proposed the term “semantic field” in 1924.J. Trier constructed Semantic Field Theory in the early 1930?s, and he is regarded as the founder of the theory. In the 1970s, John Lyons proposed that words related in any sense belonged to the same semantic field, and the semantic field was simply a lexical category, which he described as a lexical field.
