AbstractObjective: To search the medical acupuncture works, the medical case, and medical words of ancient literature for stroke from Pre-Qin to the Qing Dynasty, analysis thecharacteristics of stroke acupuncture prescription，as a carrier of the disease, exploringthe main method of the prescription of acupuncture.Methods: Integrated to record the three ancient acupuncture literatures which are the most available and authority monographs, Abstract Chinese acupuncture literature, Chinese Medical Dictionary and Chinese Acupuncture and Celebration of the Arts, the three books which involved all acupuncture bibliography and treat as a search of the literature bibliography, and then to refer the bibliography and abstract of the directory, select the bibliography which included the record of treatment of stroke literature for the study. According to Chinese Medicine Chinese Thesaurus, term clinical norms, traditional Chinese medicine diagnosis symptoms of study and more authoritative monographs, literature search to identify the word stroke. By use of key word stroke, side wind, paraplegic etc to search the relative literature. In search the stroke of the literature of acupuncture prescription, will be according to different symptom on stroke such as paraplegic, unconscious etc to be refined and classification the literature, and then to be input the data by used of access databases under each symptom separately, and preprocessing the data, after norm the literature entry disease, symptoms and Acupoints name, cause of disease, then to use data mining association rules to analysis each symptom which under the target disease and acupuncture prescription.
