developedincludingmathematicaldescriptionanddefinitionsofthefuzzyoperationsforQoSmetricsandtheroutingdecision-making.Basedonthisanalysis,theSM-SPPanditsimprovedalgorithmSM-SPP+ispresentedtofindtheshortestpathwithsingle-constrain.Thevaguelengthofallpossiblepathsfromthesourcenodetothedestinationnodeiscalculatedintheclassicaldirectednetwork,bymeanofvaguesimilaritymeasuretoevaluatesimilaritydegreebetweenthevaguepathlengthsandthetheoreticalshortestpathlength.Thepathwiththehighestsimilaritydegreeistheshortestpath.Twoillustrativeexamplesaregiventodemonstratetheresultsoftheapproaches.Inthestudyofmulti-attributedecisionmodelandmulti-constrainedrouting,twomulti-attributedecision-makingmethodsareusedbasedonpossibilitydegreematrixandscorefunction,respectively,tosolvetheroutingproblem.First,acompositeadditiveconstraintwithvaguesetisrepresented,setattributeweightsandgeneratepossiblematrixaccordingtoshortestpathprinciple,andobtaintheorderingofthepathsbytherankingformula.Second,theQoSmetricsandtheselectioncriteriaoftheoptimalpathisdeterminedaccordingtothenetworkenvironmentandthetrafficstream,developtheevaluationfunctionandthescorefunction,expresseachpathasavaguesetusingsevenfuzzyquantification,calculateandcomparethedegreeofsimilarityofeachpathlengthandtheselectioncriteria,thepathwiththehighestdegreeofsimilarityistheoptimalpath.Twoillustrativeexamplesaregiventodemonstratethecorrectnessandfeasibilityofthealgorithm.Withthestudyofgeometricrepresentationofvaguesets,anovelsimilaritymeasurebetweenvaguevaluesandbetweenvaguesetsisdevelopedbasedonmultiplegeometriccharacteristicsincludingareaandcenterdistance.Theresultofthenumericalexperimentsshowsthattheproposedsimilaritymeasureismoreintuitive,effectiveandreasonablethanmostoftheexistingsimilaritymeasuresingeneral.Accordingtothecriteriaof“Thenearertotheoptimal,thebetter,thedegreeofsimilaritymeasureisdefinedandmorerationaldecisionscanbeobtained.Anapproachisproposedformulti-constrainedroutingproblembasedonsimilaritymeasuresofvaguesets.Thisappro
