ABSTRACTIn todays world, the rapid rise of new technology and the vigorous development of new industries is clearly visible, the international community is pregnant with a new revolution of round of industry. China, as a big economic entity in the world today, greatly cultivates strategic new industry, takes the commanding heights of the future economy, science and technology which is imminent. Strategic emerging industry includes energy conservation, environmental protection, a new generation of information technology, biology, high-end equipment manufacturing, new energy, new materials, new energy automobile. These industries have great potential of development.So the private enterprise into these industry is imperative. On the one hand, Chinas private enterprises, as the economies of the most active power, should share a cup of soup in strategic emerging industries; on the other hand, the private enterprise’s congenital weakness becomes the huge obstacles of its development.This kind of obstacle for private enterprises certainly is a challenge. So, which requirements and what background do the private enterprise executives should have toword this kind of opportunity and challenge?Executives background is the connotation and extensionality characteristics which can position themselves in certain tissues orientation and show their own value. Such as executives political background, education level, age, professional skills, salary level, etc.It is thought that, enterprise development is inseparable from the executives which have certain background, executives’ background has a great decision significance for their devise strategies and improving the ability of enterprise value. So, do the private enterprise executives background and enterprise performance exist the relationship? Is it specific for this relationship? All these problems we need to answer in theory, and in order to guide practice, we need to prove in the empirical analysis.This paper tries to explain
