AbstractThethree－dimensionalruralproblemsofFarmers,RuralAreas,AgricultureProductionarethemainissuesofChina.Agricultureisthefoundationofthewholecountry.Chinahasthemostlargestpopulationintheworld,butthepercapitaarablelandareaisrelativelysmall.SohowtoensuregrainoutputandsolvetheproblemoffoodsecurityinChinaarethemostimportantproblemsforthegovernment.Sincethefoodcrisisin2008,theWorldFoodDaythemein2009isaboutfoodsecurity.Inrecentyears,theharshnaturalenvironmentandextremeweathereventssuchasfloodanddroughthappenedalot,foodproductionsufferedagreattrauma.Chinabegantoimplementthegrainsubsidiespolicysince2004nationwide,toprotectthefarmers’interestsandincreaseincomeandfoodoutput.In2012,theimplementationofthegraindirectsubsidypolicyhasgonethrougheightyears,manyscholarsfromallcirclesaswellasgovernment’spolicymakersareconstantlyresearchtheimpactofthepoliciesofgrainproductionandfarmers’decision-makingaboutgrainproductionunderthepolicy.Largenumberofstudiesfromdomesticandoverseasaboutgraindirectsubsidypolicywhichimpactonfarmers’behaviorofgrainproductiongivevariousexplanationsandsuggestionsfromdifferentpointsofview.Thefindingshaveenrichedourknowledgeaboutthesubsidypolicyinfluenceandprovidealotofusefulliteratureforourgovernment’spolicymakers,whichgreatlypromotedthedevelopmentofChinasgrainsubsidypolicyreform.Thispaperbasedonthestudyofthescholarsbefore,asHonghePrefecture,YunnanProvince,forexample,toexploretheeffectofChinasgraindirectsubsidiespolicyforgrainproductioninthewesternregion.Andthispaperusingthepastthreeyearsof2008to2010householdsurveydatainYunnan,differentfromthecross-sectionaldata,thiswillbeadifferentperspectiveandmethodstostudytheinfluenceofsubsidypolicyforgrainproductioninwestern.Themultilevelmodelsismoresuitableforlongitudinaldata.Byincreasethegeographicalfeaturesvariablesandrecodetimebaseline,investigationtheinfluenceofthepolicydirectsubsidiestograinproducersinthewesternregion.Thispaperwilltakethenewpointofviewandmethodofresearchpolicyforgrainproduction.Atthesametime,thepap
