Passage one The Era of E-Love Ah...what an E-xciting Era, we live in!. I would not trade it for any other time. Especially for finding love’. The E-lectronic way! Like most young girls. I too dreamed about growing up and falling in love with someone special...more like someone Magnificent’. And like most women do, I had to settle for less. And all my King Charming had to do to woo me was to send me a few E-Greetings and a few cut, cuts and paste, pastes’. with those magical words a thousand times over.. I love you and You are the most beautiful woman, Ive ever known’. (and mind you, this wonderfully trusting man had no idea how I looked at that time!)..If that doesnt do something to a woman who is especially feeling a little vulnerable and lonely, dont know what will! It was like confetti falling from the skies! And I think he e-enjoyed it too as my adoring him immensely did wonders for his E-go! The whole concept of finding love over the Internet especially for Indian Couples has its great advantages! Falling in love is hard enough in Indian communities. Just imagine all the trouble one can skip unlike if you are searching in person. First, have to go for that one attractive man or woman in a college/office group (since you are conditioned by watching Indian movies. aren’t you? Has anyone gone after those with the looks of xxtras?! (While there is absolutely nothing wrong with that!). Then exchange glances for months. Finally, have to muster the courage (mind you, I am not talking about the extroverts here!). To ask for a date...sneak around in bus/rail stations,, parks and and beaches for weeks or months. Dont want anyone to find out (at least for awhile!) While here in the E-world, walllah...it is all effortless! (Seemed perfect to me!)..and Im sure to many who are the loving (oops, the lazy kind)!..Dont even have to walk to the nearest Hallmark browse for a card, go the post office to get one little darn stamp! And then take a pen and begin writing. gosh, th
