浅析英语课程有效教学
摘要:通过观察和归纳小学生英语课堂学习的特性,依据小学学生心理和生理的特点,设计了适应小学英语教学的情趣教学,从而最大限度地吸引小学生的注意力,激发他们的学习兴趣,让他们自觉地去开动脑筋,解决面临的因难。“情趣教学”的设计理念是使小学生们在教师的指导下,通过感知、体验、参与和合作等方式,实现目标,完成任务,感受成功。它为学生提供了更大的实践空间,能更好地发挥学生的主动性和创造性。

1. Introduction
It is not easy for a pupil to learn a foreign language, and it is more difficult to teach a foreign language. The teacher has not only to make his students understand the language, namely the pronunciation, vocabulary, grammar and so on, teachers must also help develop their communicative competences so that they can use the language they have learned correctly, appropriately and expressively in real situations. In order to do well this complicated job, the teacher needs to be acquainted with, apart from possessing a comprehensive knowledge of the language and the ability to use it, as many teaching methods and techniques as possible, and understand the underlying theories and principles, so that teachers not only knows what to teach and how to do it, but also why they should do it in a certain way and how to solve problems when they arise. In this way they will have full confidence in doing their jobs well.
2. Foreign Language Teaching in China
English teaching began in China in the 19th century when foreign missionaries came to China. However, it didn’t enter into formal education system until the 20th century. Teachers of English then were mainly British or American missionaries, who had trained the first generation of Chinese teachers of English by the last two decades of the 19th century. In the early 20th, some people advocated some methods. They tried for more than 20 years to introduce the methods into primary and secondary schools. However, these methods were used only in a few schools. In most schools, the method used was still Grammar Translation.
