ABSTRACT
With the social progress and economic development, garden plant color rising, has been far from the traditional green plants can not meet the needs of the masses. Coleus species have colorful, into the scene is fast, easy cultivation, long viewing period, popularization in urban green leafed plants is the development trend of the construction of urban landscape. Coleus plants in China is in a booming phase, there are broad prospects for development.
Access, mainly through literature to have a preliminary understanding on the definition and classification of Colorful Plants; and through a field survey of the main road in Linyi City, squares, parks, schools and other statistics of the number of types of Colorful Plants; investigation leafed plants in the application of the main roads, squares, parks, campuses; leafed plants use configuration; leafed plants and other landscape elements to configure; the problems in the application of Linyi City leafed plants, some suggestions.
